This privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") specifically explains how we collect, use, and disclose the information that may be collected by Malizen. 


  • Visit, interact with or use our website (hereinafter referred to as the "Site"), and related applications, the social media pages linked therein, and the online advertisements, marketing, or sales communications by 

  • Submit a job application to Malizen through the Site.

  • Use certain Malizen services through the Site including, without limitation, free software versions.

  • Purchase certain services and products from Malizen.


When we refer to a combination of the above, we use the term "Services".




Malizen SAS with a capital of 43 272 euros, registered at the RCS of Rennes B 880 271 556, whose head office is located at 2 rue de la Mabilais, 35000 Rennes, France (hereinafter referred to as "Malizen" or the "Company") is the controller of the personal data collected via the Services within the meaning of the applicable regulations on personal data and in particular Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 known as "Informatique et Libertés" and EU Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.




In this Policy, personal data (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Data") is information relating to a natural person who is identified or can be identified directly or indirectly from that data. The term "processing" refers to an operation or set of operations involving personal data, regardless of the process used.






The Personal Data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with Malizen and the choices you make, Services and features you use but may include the following:

  • Your account creation and login information (username, email address and password).

  • Your contact and business information (name, employer name, job title, email address, phone number).

  • Online content (such as the content, date and time of your communications with us or when you fill out a contact form, participate in a survey, or request that we contact you).

We limit the collection of personal data to what is necessary. Malizen undertakes to ensure that the information collected is used only for the purposes for which it was collected and that it does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.


Within the framework of the execution of contractual obligations or the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, the data processing has the following purposes:

  • Management of notices about our Services, as well as other requests you may submit to us.

  • Management of customer relations, follow-up of orders, after-sales service.

  • Recruitment management when you apply online.

  • Subscription to our newsletter and related communications.

The length of time personal data is kept depends on the treatment carried out. Malizen commits itself not to keep personal data beyond the time necessary for the realisation of the treatment and in compliance with the legal provisions provided by the National Commission of Computing and Liberties. 




Any person concerned has the right to exercise with Malizen the rights provided for by the regulations in force applicable to the processing of personal data, namely:

  • Right of access: communication of their personal data

  • Right of rectification: update or rectification of personal data

  • Right of opposition: not to receive technical or commercial communications

  • Right to erasure: to request the deletion of personal data

  • Right to limitation: to request the suspension of the processing of personal data

  • Right to portability: to request the recovery of personal data in order to dispose of them in a digital format.

Only Malizen is the recipient of your personal data. This data, whether in individual or aggregated form, is never transmitted to a third party, notwithstanding the subcontractors that Malizen may call upon. Neither Malizen nor any of its subcontractors market the personal data of visitors to its Site and Users of its Services.


We may use external partners with whom we may share your Personal Data for the purposes indicated above. Whenever we use external service providers, we ensure that they have an appropriate level of personal data protection. Where these external service providers are located outside the European Union, we frame the transfer in accordance with the standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission.

For security and technical reasons, Malizen stores your personal data with a data host whose data centres are located in the European Union. We ensure that they have an appropriate level of personal data protection.


For certain operations, personal data may be transferred to service providers located in countries outside the European Union. Prior to the transfer outside the European Union, and in accordance with the regulations in force, Malizen ensures that the transfer of your data outside the European Economic Area is carried out with appropriate guarantees, in particular contractual via standard contractual, technical and organisational clauses, in conformity with the applicable regulations in terms of personal data protection.



In order to protect the Personal Data that we collect, use or transfer, Malizen, under an obligation of means, uses various technical and organisational security measures, to fight against loss, misuse, falsification or destruction. Malizen's security measures and procedures are improved as new technologies become available. All Malizen employees and any subcontractors are subject to an obligation of confidentiality.
