The pro-Russia hacktivist group ‘KillNet’ is behind massive DDoS attacks that hit websites of several major airports in the US. The list of impacted websites includes Atlanta, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and others … The KillNet group published a list of targets on its Telegram channel, calling for action against them to its followers. A total of 14 airports were attacked.
The DDoS attacks meant that these airports’ public websites were either offline for a few hours, intermittent or slow to respond. The attacks did not impact the operations at the airports.
